The entire music program will be administered by the faculty of Renaissance Music Academy in Henderson, Nevada. The Academy will provide, free of charge, all facilities and equipment necessary for each scholar’s full education. This includes use of our studios, pianos, violins, cellos, guitars, music library, sound system, video and recording equipment, and any additional resources needed throughout the academic year.
Initially, scholarships will be offered for piano, violin, cello, and guitar, with plans to expand to other instruments as demand and resources allow.
Upon acceptance, each student is placed in a program of immediate immersion, consisting of forty consecutive one-hour private lessons with a dedicated instructor over a span of 10 to 12 months. Through an approach informed by child psychology, we foster an engaging and motivating environment that encourages sustained interest and progress.
The curriculum is structured as a graduated musical progression, beginning with simplified arrangements of grand classical works. These are intentionally chosen to help children experience the richness and emotional depth of classical music from the very start.
As proficiency emerges, masterworks are introduced—carefully aligned with the student’s developing technical and interpretive abilities. In addition to weekly private lessons, students attend a mandatory one-hour music theory class each week to build a strong foundation in musical literacy.
Students will work through a leveled repertoire, mastering all pieces at their current level before advancing. The ultimate goal is for each student to reach pre-collegiate proficiency—fully prepared for entrance into a conservatory or university-level music program.

Every student’s growth will be documented and archived at various stages to allow for periodic review, evaluation, and individualized development planning.
